5. Post-Funding

Our Post-Funding process ensures the accurate and timely progression of each file from structure funding through to the delivery of our Final Report. 

Once the structure option has been selected and funds have been placed with the issuing life insurer(s), Post-Funding will then:

• Prepare structure applications and, if necessary, Assignment Agreements for review by our Legal Department;

• Ensure the timely receipt of structure payments. Every initial structure payment is sent to McKellar, to be reviewed for accuracy before being sent to the recipient. Post-Funding also works with the claimant to arrange direct deposit of all subsequent structure payments to the appropriate bank account, if preferred; and

• Prepare McKellar's reporting materials for final review and approval by the McKellar Specialist handling the file.
