Jim Nevin, FCIP, CSSC, Vice-President and member of the Board of Directors of McKellar Structured Settlements Inc., has retired from the firm, effective June 1, 2018.

Jim joined McKellar in 1982 and in the ensuing 36 years he developed an exceptionally loyal client base in his capacity as an outstanding structured settlement consultant.  Such is Jim’s personality that many of his clients became his friends.

Jim is a master of developing creative solutions to help bring resolution to settlement negotiations.  His creativity is complemented by his flamboyant style and disarming charm.  This combination of talents propelled Jim to the status of the most prolific, and perhaps well-traveled structure broker in Canada, with the achievement of placing more than one billion dollars of structure premium for thousands of accident victims during his career.

Jim can now road test thoroughly his latest mobile acquisition, being a luxury Winnebago, with which he and his lovely wife, Joanne, can tour the continent as they enjoy their retirement adventure together.

Jim has contributed so much to our company in so many different ways. We thank him for that and wish him and Joanne a healthy, long and joyful retirement.
