Today, we acknowledge our profound gratitude to the many courageous men and women of our armed services, both past and present. Their service and sacrifice has preserved the freedom that we are privileged to enjoy in Canada. It is time to remember those who answered the call when our country needed heroes.

We honour and salute the thousands of veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice, and our thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones while fighting for their country.

At 11:00 am on this 11th day, say "Thank You" to those who have served and continue to serve for our country.
