The Advocates' Society Honours Frank McKellar

On January 22, 2010, The Advocates' Society paid tribute to former McKellar President, Frank McKellar, for his company's decades-long history of support for the Society.

Current McKellar President, Ralph Fenik, attended the Tricks of the Trade conference to accept the honour on Frank's behalf.

Stephen Firestone, of Lackman Firestone, delivered the following tribute on behalf of The Advocates' Society:

Frank McKellar established McKellar Structured Settlements Inc. in 1979, after working as a negotiator for a major casualty company for 15 years.  In August, 2009, after 30 years as President of the company, he retired from his position.

Over the span of the past two decades, Frank has been a great friend to The Advocates' Society.  We are grateful for his professional association and his support.  He rarely missed an opportunity to join us in the Caribbean for our annual Fall Convention.  McKellar Structured Settlements sponsored The Advocates' Society on those early trips and continues to be a sponsor at our Fall Convention, and are a major sponsor of the Tricks of the Trade conferences today.

On behalf of my colleagues at The Advocates' Society, I wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Frank and to thank him for his years of friendship.  While he is not retiring completely for a few years, we wish him the best of every good thing as he takes on new interests and challenges in his "re-structured" life.
