BMO to acquire AIG Life of Canada

The Bank of Montreal is purchasing AIG Life of Canada for $375 million cash. The bank announced on January 13, 2009, that the purchase is expected to close by June 1, 2009, subject to approvals by the appropriate regulatory authorities.
