Each year, we provide an updated Slide Rule based on the most recent discount rate information and Statistics Canada Life Expectancy information available.  This year, there was a life expectancy update released by Statistics Canada on November 26, 2020, after our Slide Rules were printed.  We have reviewed the changes which are very minor, so your McKellar Slide Rule remains a reliable source for estimating present values for various personal injury claims.

We have updated our website and will be updating our mobile apps for the new Life Expectancy tables shortly.
