Why am I Receiving a Letter From the Life Insurer About My Structure?

February 14, 2013

Already have a McKellar Structured Settlement?

As an existing structure recipient, you may have received a letter from the life insurer making your structured settlement annuity payments.

These are known as “verification letters”. They are audits conducted by the life insurer to ensure that their records are correct, and that the payments are flowing as they should. If you receive one of these letters, simply provide the required information and return it to the life insurer promptly. This will ensure that there are no interruptions in your payments.

Because the life insurers send these letters to the mailing address on file, it is very important that you keep us up to date with your current address information.

As always, we are happy to answer any questions you may have with respect to these verification letters. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you receive a letter, and have any questions.
